The wedding dinner invitation card is provided by Safira Country Club. But they didn't give me envelop. So, I just add ribbon on the card lo. Just finish tie it yesterday!! Hooray!!
This cards can only give out after the Chinese traditional "Guo Da Li". hehehe..Before I give out, my blog friends always the first one to see it. hehehehe!!
That is a new Buddhist Society nearby my house. Mom ask me to be the volunteer in the Buddhist Society's open ceremony. It is just the next day when I reach Malaysia. Although I am very tired (cause I only slept 3 hours in the plane), but still enjoy the day over there. My mom in charge about the Buddhist's book and CD, I just become her helper. All the books and CD are free of charge, everyone can come and take it. This is print and donate by some good-hearted people. hehe!!
Very nice hall with air-conditional, is a good place for meditation. Our book stall is outside the hall, is in the open-air hall. Besides, there are a small kitchen and canteen in the open air hall too!! You can see everyone is very busy preparing the food to serve the public, children reading books from our book stall, register counter and the video-grapher also show interest in our book stall. hehe

Em....this is the last day in middle east for year 2008. hehe!! After breakfast Mr.Quah sent me to the airport. Dubai International Airport is quite big, and it has total 3 terminals. Depend on where you are departure. For me, I'll back Malaysia. So, we go to Terminal 1.

姜葱酒鸡饭 Chicken with Scallion and Ginger Rice. But cannot see the scallion already, cause I chopped it till very tiny. hehe!! This few day Mr.Quah say his stomach full with wind inside. So I decided to cook this for him, cause the ginger will eliminate the wind in his stomach.

Spaghetti always very easy to prepare. And this time I use hamburger (beef) to prepare it. Super easy to prepared it. wahahaha!!

Mr.Quah and I try practice this yoga yesterday night. The lady in this youtube really so great on it!! And I can feel my muscle pain now!! We are so old for it!! But, I found it is so useful, cause once we remember the sequence then we can do it everywhere. Besides, she still have few more yoga lesson on the youtube!! Let's try with me!!
我终于甘愿回家啦！瓦哈哈！！本来打算十月头回家的我，还是舍不得离开他，他需要我的照顾，我也需要他的保护。（好恶哦！！）。我乘马航23 Oct 08, 6:45pm的班机(Dubai时间），抵达Penang 24 Oct 08, 10:15am （大马时间）。一共需要11小时吧！！妈妈会来接我。。。Em..不知打算去那里先呢？？去找吃的？？瓦哈哈！我有半年没有吃到炒果条了。。好想念哦！！
回来我最讨厌就是要去面对婚纱店，那班吸血鬼了。本来高高兴兴的回家，一旦想到她们我就很生气。我已经听了好多新娘说要小心婚纱店的人，没有想到我还是中招。真的就是千挑万选，还是搞到这样的局面！希望我和我妈会克服这个难关，就是不可以再加钱给她们赚了，她们已经吸了我们好多的血！！但是，我一旦又想到可以回家开始筹备婚礼，我的心情又开始好起来了。哈哈！！
今天，我在网上看了好多好多新娘，她们都自己DIY好多东西，例如：新娘车，姐妹手花，新娘花，婚宴小回礼。她们弄的好美，好有纪念性。比起，请人做更有纪念性哦！！我在羡慕着。。。我也打算DIY一些小物品，假如成功才放在这里让朋友欣赏，假如失败了呢？！我就会去跟花店的人预订花去。瓦哈哈！！我还需要跟摄影师，宴会负责人，帮我设计宴会场地的人还有乐团见个面，当面讲清楚所有当天我需要他们注意的东西。还要，去买过大礼的东西，安床需要的物品还有嫁妆。还要，跟朋友出来喝茶交流交流下，要不然！我看我都快没有朋友了！！哈哈！
当然，就是这两个月就是让我在家里，好好跟我爸爸，我妈妈珍惜相处的时间。再过两个月后，我就嫁人了。不过，我想将来，我还是会常回家的。因为我们很少在大马，一回大马，我想我会回家先。。。我未来家婆他们会介意吗？？？我不管这样多了。当然我父母比较重要。至于Mr.Quah,他就自己回家先咯。我们分头回自己的家！！哈哈我很坏的啦！！除非，家婆他们生气我一直回家，那我就很惨！！瓦哈哈！不会的啦，表自己吓自己！！

Finally, I willing to back home! wahahah!! At first, I plan to back at early of October, but I still miss the day together with Mr.Quah here!! But now is totally late for my wedding preparation, so I have to go back to prepare it! I take MAS flight on 23 Oct 08, 6:45pm (Dubai's time) and will reach Penang at 24 Oct 08, 10:15am (Malaysia's time). Total need 11 travel hours!! Cause I need to transit to Penang in KLIA, have to wait 2 hours there..hu!hu!! have to wait so long!! But never mind la!! As long as I can reach home safely. My mom will come and fetch me!! Em...where to go first?? Really need to plan for it!!! Go to eat "Cha Kue Teow"??!! I half year never eat it already..miss it so much!!
The first thing I don't like when I back Malaysia is to face all the "vampire" in the bridal house. Actually, I had read a lots of bride-to-be say that, be aware all the sale girl in the bridal house, but I still face the same problem, although I though I will escape from this. Haizzz!! Hope, this time my mom and I will overcome this problem smoothly, I don't plan to add more money for them already, we are enough for that. But, when I think I can start to prepare my wedding, I start to feel happy and can't wait for it! wahahaha!!
Today, I had visit lots of wedding website and blog, I so admire their effort in preparing their own wedding. Most of the stuff they DIY by themselves. Haha..I get some idea from that too!! I also plan to DIY some stuff for it..hehe..If I success to complete it, I will post here and show everyone. If I didn't success for it...I will straight away go to the florist shop to order..wakakakak!! Besides, I need to meet up with my wedding photographer, the person who in charge for my wedding dinner, decoration and the live band. I need to tell them, what I need on my actual day. I also need to buy lots of thing too, all the Chinese traditional wedding stuff. Wa..need to spend lots of money too!! Besides, I also need to meet my friends, if not I will getting less and less friends already.
Of course, in these 2 month I will spend a very good time with my dad and my mom. I will get marry soon and most possibly no chance to back home to visit them. In addition, I will no stay in Malaysia for long time, so the time together with them are very less. SO, I plan once I back Malaysia, I sure will back my home first and Mr.Quah will go back to his own home. wahahahah!! I don't care anymore!! hehe

这个戒指是我第一个戒指。刚要买时，我还在想我能一直穿着吗？？因为我很讨厌手指间有东西卡在那里的感觉。那里知道，穿穿下。。又不会觉得麻烦，觉得蛮自然的。我想把它永远保存起来，所以将它拍美美收在这里。当时是要准备注册仪式，所以在吉隆坡谷中城买。就好像这张图片，我要用戒指将他绑起来，告诉所有女性他是已婚男性。
This is my first ring in my life. At first, I still worry. Can I wear it all the time?? Because I don't like got something stuck between my finger that kind of feeling. But luckily, I can stand for this feeling and when the time pass I feel like nothing on my finger. hehe!! For my sweet memory, I know one day my ring will be old and maybe it will lost. So, I take it in photo and keep it here. We bought it from in Midvelly, Kuala Lumpur for our Register of marriage at 27 Jun 2007. Same like the comic picture here, I want to tight him with this ring. wakakak!!
Actually, this is my "Hainan chicken rice". The Hainan paste I bought it in the market. I don't know how to prepared it. hehe paisei paisei!! Only the rice is Hainan taste, the fry chicken is a normal chicken taste. Wahahahah!!
This is my dinner is a Fry curry rice noodle with sausage and fry egg. Plan to cook this long time ago. Luckily my invention was very successful. wahahahhaha!!
Ingredient:
1. Garlic
2. Onion
3. Sausage
4. Curry paste (mix curry powder with water)
5. Salt and sugar mix with the curry paste.
6. Fry egg
Method:
1. Fry garlic, onion and sausage.
2. Add curry paste with seasoning inside.
3. Add rice noodle and fry it.
4. Add some water too, so that rice noodle will not so hard.
5. Decorate with fry egg.
wahaha!! Pumpkin rice again!! Love to cook this cause it is easy to prepared. Some more, it is full of nutriments, so I like it!!
Ingredient:
1. Half pumpkin cut into pieces
2. Chinese sausage or wax sausage (or can add dry shrimp/salty fish)
3. Chicken meat
4. Rice
5. Fry an egg
6. Salt
7. Pepper powder
8. Garlic
9. Black soy sauce
Method:
1. Hot pan with oil and fry garlic and Chinese sausage.
2. Then fry with chicken meat and pumpkin.
3. Then you can add some seasoning. Don't add sugar, cause pumpkin itself is sweet enough. But you need to add more salt and pepper powder and finally with black soy sauce.
4. Add rice and measure water like usual way to cook rice.
5. Cook in the rice cooker.
6. Decorate with fry egg and chive.
Actually, Tempura has variety of vegetables and sea food. But I only use Eggplant no variety of vegetable. Some more I change the method to make it..wahahahahha!!! Actually, there are tempura flour in the market. But I didn't buy it. I just fry like normally we fry chicken. hehe
Ingredient:
1. Eggplant
2. Flour (for fry chicken flour)
3. one egg (beat)
4. Bread crumbs
Method:
1. Cut eggplant into pieces.
2. Apply egg on the eggplant.
3. Add some flour on the eggplant.
4. Follow with bread crumbs.
5. Finally, heat the oil before you put the eggplant to fry.
6. Fry till yellow color
7. Ready to serve.

This is the first time I cook fish!! But..we didn't buy the whole fish. We only bought a slide of fish . At home Mr.Quah clean the fish and steam it.
I only prepared the sauce on top!! I dare not touch the raw fish. Wakakaka!! If not one help me wash the fish. I'll never think to eat fish!! I scare of fish!!
话说我们的结婚日子，真的来的不容易。为什么呢？说来话长！！在２００７年６月注册结婚，因为通书还没出版，老人家说要等到２００８年２月份。等了８个月的通书终于出了。男方家看了第一个日子在２００８年１２月２１日（冬至）。但我妈妈不太喜欢这个日子，原因是怕亲戚朋友忙着冬至不能来参加我们的婚礼。所以，我就提起勇气向未来家婆提出换日子的要求。所以，我妈妈，未来家婆还有我，一起到北海那里看新日子。配了我们俩的时辰八字，还有两家双亲的时辰八字，再加上考量Mr.Quah的工作时间表。我们选定了 ２００８ 年１２月２９日 （星期一）。我总觉得我的结婚日子真的很艰难才能拿到！！
在说，我时常看了很多结婚网站，所列出的结婚日子都没有２００８ 年１２月２９日 ，还说这日子是不适合结婚的。当时的我真的很担心，难到我注定还要换多一次结婚日子？？不是吧！！好麻烦哦！！换又不对，不换我们又担心。直到我看到了Lilian Too 的网站写着。Good day to Wed, ２００８ 年１２月２９日是个好日子。我俩的心才真正安下来！！哈哈！！终于！！
Our wedding date, is so difficult to get it!! Why?? you may ask!! This is really a long long story!! okok!! Still remember we register our marriage at Jun, 2007, Chinese old folk believe if you want to get next year wedding date you must wait after next year Chinese New years in February, when the new year of Chinese almanacs (or tong shing in chinese) is published then the old folk can check the auspicious day according to the book. So, I wait for 8 months to till 2008 Chinese New year. Finally, my future mother-in-law get the wedding date for us, is on 21/12/08 (winter solstice festival). But, my mother dislike this wedding date, cause she say on this day most of the relatives will pray and busy preparing their own celebration. So, our relatives might not able to attend my wedding, so she wants me to make a phone call to Mr.Quah's mom, to change the date. I am so worry and think this might trouble my future mother-in-law too. Finally, I call her and she did agree this explanation and agree to change the date. Luckily!! Then, the next day, 3 of us (my mom, mother-in-law, and I) went to Butterworth (i also don't know the actual place) ask one of the master to help us pick the wedding auspicious day. We gave him our "four pillars of our birthday" and both side parents birthday date also needed. Plus Mr.Quah working schedule. So, finally we decided on 29/12/08 (Monday).
After I get my wedding date, I read at wedding forum or website and found out 29/12/08 is not a good day to get marry. This information make us really down and worry. Do I need to change our wedding day again??? No!! Please don't change it again, I shout in my heart!!! Until one day, my brother sent me Lilian Too's world of feng shui website, and we found out she say 29/12/08 is a good day to wed. Finally, our stress are released and decided not to change the date anymore!! hahaha...now you understand what I mean my wedding date is very difficult to get it??
Red color in the calender indicate auspicious day, and the gray color indicate inauspicious day and the white color indicate indifferent day.
I left one small potatoes, and a little bit of chicken meat, and half carrot. So I decided to cook this Chicken Curry noodle.This is our dinner for yesterday night!!
Fry Chicken pieces with Sambal paste! I like hot and spicy stuff!! Besides, sambal paste also have some sour taste, so is very nice with with rice!! hehe
Sambal paste, I bought from Malaysia. So, I just fry with Onion and Capsicum. And, I also steam some carrot and broccoli put beside the rice!
This is ABC rice noodles. Haha!! I cook ABC soup (Carrot+Potatoes+Onion+Tomatoes) for the lunch time. But we cannot finish it, so I decided to keep it and at night I will modified and become another dish!! hehe
I prepare boil egg, chive, fry garlic and some fish ball. Of course need to add some tomatoes paste to make it more sour.
Mashed potatoes with carrot!! I am no idea, what to have for our dinner!!
So, I open the refrigerator and I found one big potatoes and carrot!! haha!! All my idea come!! Let's make mashed potatoes!! hehe But, actually it's quite full too!!
I use this Knorr, Instant Chicken Gravy Mix to cook the gravy. The taste is very nice. I bought from Penang Tesco last time.

Recently, both of us really crazy about this Japanese series comic, but it has translated into Chinese version!! Really a funny and relaxing comic! The title is "My family", the story is about all the daily life activities happened in the family members.
After we finish window shopping in Emirate mall, almost 4pm already! so we jalan jalan around the Dubai city and look for something special!! hehe!! You can see the tallest building in the world and the road with lots of office building. This is the first main road in Dubai city!! very very nice!!
One more photo with the coconut tree, I snap in the car...so become like this!! The Clock tower is some where around Deira, which is in the old Dubai city!
Below is our dinner!! We have Iranian food in the "Outlet shopping mall"!! and can you see the French fried in the paper cup!! Is so cute, it has topped with capsicum, mayonnaise, tomato sauce!! easy to make right?? Can DIY for yourself too!!
A pair of shoes for Mr.Quah!! He long long time never buy shoe already!! I insisted and force him to buy one for himself!! We should always love and reward ourselves right??!!
Second station, we went to Emirate Mall, no far from Madinat Jumeirah. This shopping complex is very nice!! Insides there has "Ski Dubai", the first indoor ski destination in the Middle East. hehe!! We didn't enter the ski park. Because it is very expensive too!! One day pass cost about RM300!! So, we just look from far lo!! hehe!!
This shopping complex has lots of branded shop, really suit for those branded lover!! Then we went to the food court to have some drink. Wow!! see the coke and the hamburger cost how much?? and the ice creme....we are speechless when we saw it!! hahahahahha!!!
Happy Hari Raya holiday!!! We went to find our old old friend in Dubai. He just came here 3 weeks ago!! Actually, he is Mr.Quah secondary school friends, and he also my primary school friend!! So, we bring him to some famous places and enjoy some good food here. First station, we went to Madinat Jumeirah!! Is very local style place. He really enjoy himself over here!! Madinat Jumeirah just besides the Burj Dubai hotel!
There have indoor and outdoor beautiful view here. Indoor fully air-condition, and all the stuff selling here are very beautiful..of course very expensive too!! hehe!! You can get lots of souvenir, painting, Genie magic lamp, Arab style lamp, Arabic silk, and "hookah" or water smoke if translate in Chinese! haha Hookah is very famous all over the Arabic country!! If you really want to understand Arabic life-style. I fully recommend you to come here!!
And outdoor, just because the weather now is just nice, not so hot!! We hang around and take some beautiful view. Besides, there are lot of open air restaurant, bistro. People can enjoy food and beautiful view together!! And there is a lake around this complex, some tourist can sit on the boat enjoy the view around here!!
Lunch time, we went to "the Noodles house" to have our lunch!!! The food is yummy!!! I really enjoy it.

When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar and the 2 cups of coffee.
A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, he wordlessly picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.
The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.
The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with an unanimous 'yes.'
The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed.
'Now,' said the professor as the laughter subsided, 'I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The golf balls are the important things---God, your family, your children, your health, your friends and your favorite passions---and if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.
The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house and your car.
The sand is everything else---the small stuff. 'If you put the sand into the jar first,' he continued, 'there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff you will never have room for the things that are important to you.
'Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children. Spend time with your parents. Visit with grandparents. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your spouse out to dinner. Play another 18. There will always be time to clean the house and fix the
disposal. Take care of the golf balls first---the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.'
One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented. The professor smiled. 'I'm glad you asked.
It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend.'
I cook Seaweed fish ball soup and Fry Cabbage with Black Fungus few day ago!!! Don't know why, I like seaweed very much. Maybe just because it's a bit crunchy!! Black fungus, Mr.Quah not really likes it, but I know is good for our health!! So, I have to ask him eat lo!! hehe
This is our lunch for today!! Instead of Pork rib, I use chicken lo!! Pity me!!
One more is pumpkin with ikan bilis and onion!!! Yummy!!
Chinese sausage cook together with the rice in the rice cooker!! Very nice to eat, cause the Chinese sausage will make your rice smell good!!
Firstly, you wash your rice and the Chinese sausage. Then, put the rice and the sausage in the rice cooker and water like normal. Switch on the rice cooker. Then, when the rice are done, take out the sausage and cut into pieces. Ready to serve lo!! so easy rite?? Let's try~
