Countdown!!

Recently, my mind is always full with plaining and everyday keep on countdown for the trip back home in Malaysia! ! Ha ha! My scheduled back hometown is eating "cha keow tiao" here today, tomorrow we go eat curry noddles, the next day we go eat.....  tomorrow. . . . . ! ! ! Ha ha! ! horrible !!

At the same time! ! I am looking forward to eat the chinese rice dumpling! ! CCTV 4 now almost everyda showing Dragon Boat Festival advertising program. Oh My God! ! ! When I saw the hot rice dumpling, my saliva is full in my mouth! ! ! ! Ha, ha, ha! ! I hope my mother will keep some rice dumpling for me and for Mr.Quah!!! 

There are 38 days from today for us to back Malaysia ! ! Yummy yummy Food. I'm coming! !

最近,满脑子都在计划,天天在倒数,回大马家乡的行程!!哈哈!我都是编排今天去这里吃炒果条,明天去那里吃加哩面,后天去吃。。。。。!!! 哈哈!!恐怖!!


还有,还有!!我期待已久的肉棕子!!现在cctv 4几乎常常打端午节的广告,节目。我的天啊!!!当我看到热腾腾的肉棕子,满口都是口水了!!!!哈哈哈!!希望我妈妈有留下几个给我和Mr.Quah啦!!

回大马家乡的日子,距离今天还有38天!!美食。。美食。。我来啦!!

Spicy mince meat with pumpkin

Pumpkin is a very healthy food...I know, everyone know!!! But...frankly speaking....I not really like it!! But evertime in the market, I forced myself to buy it!! After bought it, everytime open the fridge, I look at it!! Don't know how to cook it!! With rice again, same like last time I used to cook it!! No way!! I already bored!! Pumpkin soup again!!! no no!! This time never want to drink  any soup!! So, one day, two days. This pumpkin is happyily sleeping in the fridge, cause nobody want to eat it!!!!! So...one day, I finish everthing in the fridge, so is time to cook it!!!! I try to search in internet, see the various way to prepared it!! Finally I got this...Mince meat with pumpkin!!! Em...in my imagination...it should be good!! But I change the original recepi!! I add red chili in, so make it spicy!!! hahahhahh!!!

So, now this should call Spicy mince meat with pumpkin!!

Ingredient:

  1. Pumpkin
  2. Mince meat (beef, chicken will do)
  3. Green capsicum in small pieces
  4. Gralic (chopped)
  5. Chili

Method:

  1. Hot pan and add oil fry gralic till fragrant.
  2. Add in mince meat and fry it for few second.
  3. Add Pumpkin stir few time and add warm water.
  4. Cover the pan, and let it boil, turn down the heat. 
  5. Cheak time to time, to make sure the pumpkin is soft enough.
  6. When is soft, add in gran capsicum and chili. And let it boil again.
  7. Start seasoning with salt, pepper. No need add sugar, cause the pumpkin is sweet.
  8. Then done!!!

临睡前读的一本好书

上个星期五,我们又到了书局。在那里不知不觉中呆了两个小时,爱看书的我们当然没有放过任何机会。。哈哈!我就在中文区那里找到了这本书"甘露与净瓶的对话(圣严法师开示/吴若权修行笔记)"。只看了几页,我心理就很明白我要这本书。Mr.Quah说我当时,握着这本书紧紧不放,他就知道他必须给钱买了!!哈哈!!

为什么这本书名为"甘露与净瓶的对话"?吴若权说圣严法师送给他的亲自题字的墨宝"净瓶常注甘露水",意识是说每个人都是一只瓶子,无论形状是什么,材质为何,洁净与否,只要愿意常注甘露,就能得到智慧与解脱。所以在这里"甘露"当然是指圣严法师的智慧开示,"净瓶"当然是吴若权本人啦!他说虽然自己不是一只干净无暇的瓶子,但却自勉注入圣严法师所给的甘露之后,将逐渐洗去污垢,净化心灵,沉殿之后,再将甘露分享给大众。

还有另一个,让我觉得很对的地方就是。圣严法师说,成长,是往内心去探索自己,而不是向外去需索感管的满足。现在很多年轻人,接触的娱乐,消遣的事物太多了,都是感管上的满足。假如定力不足的年轻人分分钟都会迷失自己。年轻人应该尽量沉殿自己,尽量学习,努力找出自己将来要走的路,来奉献社会,奉献家庭。

我只看完了第一章,认识自我。我觉得这绝对是本好书。没有后悔当天我一定要买的决定。哈哈!

Nasi Lemak

Yesterday, my neighbor Ann taught me how to cook this nasi lemak.  A very famous dish among all Malaysian. Without think twice, I cook it today!! hehe!! 

Still remember last time, I always bought a packet of Nasi lemak, then eat in the office with a cup of hot coffee as my breakfast!! Em...is so nice!!! There are 3 different type of nasi lemak stall, only slightly different, not much. Sometime I will buy from Chinese's stall, sometime is Mamak's stall, or sometime is Melay's stall!! Okie la, share with you the recepi.

Ingredients:

  1. 2 cup Rice
  2. 2 cup of cocont milk
  3. 1 and half cup of water
  4. Few ginger slices 
  5. Cucumber slices
  6. Peanut (fry in a pan without oil, or roast it)
  7. Hard boiled egg
  8. Ikan bilis (dried anchovies)
  9. Dried chillies (softened in water and pounded finely)
  10. 2 big onion (one chopped, another ond slice it)
  11. Few garlic (Chopped)
  12. Sausage
  13. Ketchup
  14. Sugar, salt

Method (Rice-2 serving)

  1. 2 cup of rice, cook with 2 cup of cocont milk, and 1 and half cup of water.
  2. Add few slide ginger insides. 
  3. Add some salt.
  4. Cover and cook.
  5. When rice is almost dry, lower the heat. Let rice stand over low heat for 15 to 20 minutes.

Method (sweet chilli paste)

  1. Add oil and fry 1 big spoon of dried chilies for few second.
  2. Add the chopped onion and chopped garlic and fry till fragrant.
  3. Then add Ikan bilis (dried anchovies).
  4. Add some water.
  5. Start seasoning with ketchup, sugar, and salt. 
  6. Finally add the slide onion ring for few second. 
  7. Swith off the heat. Serve with coconut rice, roasted peanut, cucumber slices, sausage and eggs!!! Enjoy!

Thai's party night!!

Last week Thursday nigth, we have a "hot" party. This party is prepared by one Thailand's colleague, Putipart at terrace which is a platform extending outdoors from top floor of our apartment building. Why I say is a hot party because the weather at night really hot!!! I guess is around 27'c more and less!! Everyone is sweating!!

Most of the food is Thailand's food, stream crab, kalabu ect!! Really nice!!! But I cannot eat the crab, so sad!! Cause I have skin allegry, if I eat it, sure my skin will be itchy again!!! But my saliva almost drooling from my mouth. ..hahaha!!
